10. Folding Chair

As the name suggests it is a chair which can be folded. It is a light and portable chair that folds flat and can be stored in a corner of the house. It is generally used for seating in areas where permanent furniture is not possible to be used like sporting events or outside parties. 

Folding chairs were used as seating in 15th-13th century BC in the Mediterranean region. A folding chair of ebony and ivory was found in Tutankhamun’s tomb in Egypt.
